Glass shower enclosures come in a virtually endless variety of design possibilities. And the only conceivable limitations would be the budget, the imagination and finally the skill level of the interior glazers commissioned for a project.
The most popular and modernistic shower enclosure design in today's market is the frameless shower enclosure. That can be configured to an inline, right angle, custom angle or a neo angle design. Unlike the more common framed bypass sliding glass shower doors. The frameless glass shower enclosure is exactly what it's name implies it to be. Meaning that the glass panels have no frame to keep them up in place. Instead they are held together with silicon and strategically positioned metal brackets and clamps with matching door hinges if applicable. The door panels come with many design options of either knobs, pull knobs or pull bars. Shower door accessories such as towel bars, tissue paper roll holders, robe and towel hooks and support bars come in many matching designs. The most commonly used metal finishes for the hardware come in red, white, black, brass, satin brass, ultra brass, antique bras, chrome, satin chrome, brushed satin chrome, polished nickel, satin nickel, brushed nickel, antique brushed nickel, pewter, brushed bronze, oil rubbed bronze, antique bronze, polished copper, antique brushed copper, gun metal and gold plated. Glass panels that make up the structure of the shower enclosures are for the most part either clear and or colored tempered glass, cast glass and laminated glass. And as I've stated earlier, the design possibilities with these types of glass are only limited to the budget, imagination and of course the level of skill possessed by the glazers.
